Registration fees
The registration fee includes: attendance to all sessions, congress material, lunches and refreshments in the breaks during the congress days.
Student fees
The student fee applies for all students enrolled in a recognized academic institution. To register students must be able to provide Student ID or similar documentation. PhD-students/PhD-candidates preparing for their PhD-degree are allowed to register as “Students”.
Registration Instruction for Presenting Authors
Each accepted ISEC 2022 abstract must have at least one full registration attached to it before June 30, 2022 in order to be included in the programme.
Social Events
Welcome gathering – Monday 16.00
The Welcome gathering includes snacks and a glas of wine. The reception will take place at the conference Venue.
Conference Dinner- Thursday Sept 29
Place: Carlsten Fortress
The conference dinner will take place in the historical stone fortress Carlsten at the Island of Marstrand. Dinner is included in your conference fee, but pre-registration is mandatory. The transfer busses will leave at approx. 17:30 from outside the conference Venue. Scheduled to be back by 22:30-23:00
Visa Letter
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorisation to attend the meeting can download and fill out the form. The form can be dowloaded HERE.
Hotel booking
A number of hotel rooms in different price categories have been pre-booked in Gothenburg for the conference. Book your room via the online booking service when you register for the conference.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we ask for in the registration is the information we need to properly arrange the meeting, logistics, login, payments etc. We will provide relevant information with our partners (travel agency / hotel / venue and industry) with the same purpose. Neither we nor our partners will share any information with third parties. We may keep your name and email address for future events, but you are always free to reject any invitations. We can not register your information without your approval. By clicking the “I have read and accept the privacy policy” button in our registration forms, you agree that we store your information according to the privacy policy.

VAT on fees – important information
The fees are stated in SEK including Swedish VAT. Please note that all delegates are required to pay Swedish VAT on the registration fee (25%), social events (25%) and hotel (12%).
Swedish tax legislation requires us to charge VAT (25%) on registration fees for both Swedish and non-Swedish customers. If your company is headquartered in a EU VAT-area country, you may apply for a VAT refund at your tax office in your home country.
Kindly contact your tax authority for more information on VAT refunds.
Method of payment
All payments should be made in Swedish krona (kr/SEK). All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the delegate. No personal, company or Euro-cheques will be accepted.
Payment can be made by the following methods:
Credit card – Visa and MasterCard. Please note that all credit card payments are made through a secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card statement.
Invoice – Only possible for Swedish companies/organisations with a valid Swedish VAT number (Org.nr). Invoices should be paid within 30 days.
Cancellation of registration and social events
Until July 16 2022, cancellation is possible and you will be refunded the congress fee less an administrative cost of SEK 500. We regret that no refunds can be made for cancellations received after July 16th 2022. If you cannot attend the congress, your registration is transferable to another member of your organisation, an administrative cost of SEK 250 will be charged. All changes should be done in written form to: isec2022@meetx.se
Cancellation of hotel
- Cancellation until 30 days before arrival – 100% of the total cost of the reservation will be refunded
- From 30 to 14 days before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged
- We regret that cancellations within 14 days before arrival will not be refunded
Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations has to be made directly in written form to Sweden MEETX AB and not to the hotel. Contact us by sending an email to isec2022@meetx.se
